Fostering partnership and innovation to better serve our community

Louise Perez Resource Center

The Louise Perez Resource Center, located in the Sacramento Promise Zone, brings needed social services to The Avenues in South Sacramento. It’s a Hub that connects local residents with multiple community-focused services to the residents of this neighborhood. At the Center, we offer Utility Bill Payment assistance, WIC program services, and Children’s Dental screenings and have a local, grocery store, Prime Time Nutrition, offering a full array of products including fresh fruits, vegetables and meats to local residents.

Sacramento County Supervisor Patrick Kennedy declared an “end to the drought” referencing the food desert that had existed in the community for years.

Prime Time Nutrition Store

“Community Resource Project is proud of our relationship with Prime Time Nutrition, and to have them become part of our neighborhood helps fulfill a critical need for a community grocery store” said Luis H. Sanchez, Chief Executive Officer of the Community Resource Project, Inc. CRP worked with a large and diverse group of partners to build the Louise Perez Resource Center in 2014. The center is committed to working with partners to bring a variety of social services to “The Avenues” neighborhood, connecting local residents with multiple community -based organizations and services.
